I’ve been using Arch Linux recently. This blog will serve as the list of things/new-concepts I learn while using it.

What Is a Rolling Release Model?#

The rolling release model is a way to deliver software updates continuously. Instead of releasing software in big versioned packages (like Ubuntu 22.04, macOS Sonoma, or Windows 11), it releases incremental updates frequently. There is no concept of major or minor versions (like v2.0, v3.0). Instead, updates are applied incrementally. Users get the latest features, improvements, and bug fixes as soon as they are ready.
